The policy states:
Any member in good standing is able to apply to the Executive Board for authorization to attend a course relating to our crafts and be reimbursed. Funds will be available for reimbursement after successfully completing the course and providing receipts.

Please note: the education fund is for continuing education to enhance your skills and promote trade unionism. It does not fund basic schooling for accreditation.

Examples of what is eligible and what is not:YES:
Janice is a makeup artist who would like to take a class in brush sanitizing and safety measures.

Kathryn is a costumer who would like to take a specialized course in bustles and boning.

George is a supervisor who would like to take a course in effective people management.

Suzanne would like to attend a weekend conference on union organizing. She would like to submit the entrance fees.

NO:
Chris is a member of the wardrobe roster and would like to become a hairstylist. He is taking classes to get his license.
This is not eligible because the local doesn’t fund courses for basic accreditation
Don’t forget to get approval from the executive board before you take the course, and submit proof of completion and receipts after the course.
